Interview with Javiescobar Interior Design

How would you synthesize in a short sentence what interior design is for you?

The ability to create functional spaces for customers to live and enjoy.

What can you tell us about the intangible value of design?

It is the essence of the project. You can create a wonderful space, but the design has not worked if people come in and don't feel anything.

Within the world of interior design today, what role does furniture design play?

An important role. Thanks to it, you can play a lot with the feeling you want to give and the style that the project carries, without furniture, that could not be achieved.

Of all your career, which project or projects would you highlight as the most relevant in which you have participated?

They are all equally important, but the last project I always carry out is the one that identifies me the most since it is the most recent.

Finally, how do you perceive the present and future of interior design?

Well, I think there will come a time when our work as interior designers and designers will be recognized much more. It will be something that will not go unnoticed in society. That will bring more value to this guild, and that's something I'd love. I'm sure it will be like that in the end.
